About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Civil Engineer to join our team in Sweco UK&I. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality civil engineering projects, collaborating with stakeholders, and driving innovation in our water management solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Principal Engineers, Design Managers, and Technical Managers to acquire project milestones and design review dates.
  • Review project design calculations and ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Liaise with other departments and project teams to ensure design requirements are met.
  • Work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary project team to deliver projects on time, to budget, and to the correct quality.
  • Ensure designs comply with all statutory civil standards and regulations.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with a proven track record in design and integration of civil process systems. You will also have experience in mentoring and coaching junior engineers, as well as the ability to work with people from different partner company backgrounds and disciplines.
