About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Civil Engineer to join our team at Anglian Water Services. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in delivering our ambitious Asset Management Period (AMP) 8 program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide design support for non-infrastructure schemes and ensure all designs meet current legislation and standards.
  • Review and check civil design deliverables produced by other engineers to ensure adherence to processes and procedures.
  • Coach and mentor junior engineers to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project solutions provide best value for business.
  • Deliver projects as a civil engineer, working effectively with multi-disciplinary teams.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Chartered Engineer status or ability to demonstrate a level of competence in practical civil engineering design experience.
  • Proven track record in design and integration of civil process systems and equipment.
  • Experience in mentoring and coaching junior engineers.
