About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive People Officer to join our busy and multi-talented team at HobbyCraft. As a key member of our HR department, you will provide support to various business functions, including HR, Recruitment, and Training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide HR advisory and administrative support to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Assist in the implementation of HR processes and procedures to drive business efficiency.
  • Support recruitment efforts, including managing immigration documentation and coordinating training courses.
  • Develop and maintain HR-related documentation, such as contracts and employee handbooks.
  • Collaborate with managers to provide professional and commercial advice on employee relations and employment law.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a HR environment, preferably with a focus on employee relations and recruitment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage changing priorities.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and managers.
  • Attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
