We are seeking a Complex Behaviour Support Specialist to join our team. The salary for this position is approximately £35,000 - £45,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Role

In this role, you will work with patients who have complex and sometimes challenging behaviours. As a Registered Mental Health Nurse or Learning Disability Nurse, you will use your clinical expertise to develop and implement strategies to support these individuals and promote positive behaviour change.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to support patients with complex and sometimes challenging behaviours
  • Work closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Monitor and review patient progress, making adjustments to strategies as needed
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A current NMC registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse or Learning Disability Nurse
  • An up-to-date knowledge of clinical practices and a strong understanding of CQC requirements and frameworks
  • Experience of working with individuals with complex needs and developing effective care plans
