Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Cost Management Professional to join our team as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor. This role will be responsible for controlling costs, ensuring projects are completed within budget, and performing various tasks to support the construction department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in preparing tender and contract documents
  • Perform risk and value management to optimise solutions
  • Establish client requirements and undertake feasibility studies
  • Advise on contractual claims and disputes
  • Maintain awareness of current contracts
  • Understand health and safety regulations
  • Ensure post-completion defect liability period obligations are met
  • Work with the project team to plan projects and measure work done
Requirements:
  • Must have a degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Strong numerical and budgeting abilities
  • Excellent knowledge of construction processes and materials
  • Proficiency in computer software for project management
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
