We are recruiting freelance interpreters to work with various public and private organisations across the UK, including the NHS, Local Authorities, Police, Probation, and more.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for language professionals who want to work on a part-time or full-time basis, depending on their availability. As a freelancer, you will be able to choose from a range of assignments that suit your schedule and skills.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret conversations between clients and service providers in person, over the phone, or via video conference
  • Ensure accurate communication by checking the client's understanding after each sentence
  • Provide high-quality consecutive and public service interpreting services
  • Liaise between clients and service providers, ensuring smooth interactions

What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Fluency in English and another language
  • The right to work in the UK
  • Aged 21 or over
  • Formal qualifications such as a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI) or equivalent
