We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Residential Support Worker to join our team at the CareTech Group. As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to young people with complex needs.
About the Role:
As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for leading shifts, deputising for the Registered Manager, and ensuring that our team of Residential Care Workers are up-to-date with all mandatory learning and assisting with their individual development. You will also be responsible for communicating with the on-site team, raising awareness with regards to individual care plans, and maintaining accurate written records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead shifts and deputise for the Registered Manager as required
- Ensure Residential Care Workers are up-to-date with mandatory learning and assist with their individual development
- Communicate with the on-site team and raise awareness with regards to individual care plans
- Maintain accurate written records in logs, continuation sheets, and files
- Contribute to team and staff meetings to facilitate good communication and staff development
- Provide support and care to young people within our services
- Encourage young people in their preparation to re-enter education or engage in their current schooling
- Travel with young people to and from school or college
- Prepare food at meal times and maintain the home to ensure a wonderful environment for young people
- Organise and facilitate social activities
Requirements:
- Must hold a full UK driving licence
- Must have the desire to earn a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent Children & Younger Peoples workforce
- 12 months senior experience working in a Residential setting is highly desirable, but we also encourage applications from those at the start of their journey

- Rate of Pay: £14.22 per hour dependent on experience/qualifications
