Reliability and Availability Specialist

At HCLTech, we are seeking a skilled Reliability and Availability Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience in performing reliability analysis of HVDC systems.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Reliability and Availability analysis of HVDC offshore and onshore facilities.
- Facilitate and lead workshops for FMECA.
- Perform reliability prediction for HVDC systems.
- Develop and implement availability analysis according to Cigré TB 590.
- Generate reports for reliability and availability analysis.
- Create and develop Reliability Block Diagrams (RBD) and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA).
- Perform Markov analysis.
- Collaborate with the Data Analysis team to develop a RAMS dashboard.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Document processes, methodologies, and observations.
- Action track and follow up on risk reductions.
- Meet work quality standards.
- Support audits.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering.
- Strong understanding of FTA compliance with IEC 61025 and RBD with IEC 61078.
- Knowledge of performing reliability prediction using MIL 217 F N2.
- Understanding of performing FMECA according to IEC 60812 and MIL-STD-1629A.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Certifications:
- CRE or equivalent certification.
