Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at Pets at Home Retail. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our store, including managing staff, maintaining high standards of customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and motivate a team of sales staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the store, including stock management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and increase customer engagement.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the store management team to achieve business objectives and improve store performance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a retail management role, with a minimum of 6 months hands-on supervisory/management experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Passion for retail and a commitment to delivering high standards of customer service.
