About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Customer Delivery Driver to join our team at Tesco. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers receive their shopping in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver customer shopping trips in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring that all products are delivered in good condition.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ensure that all delivery vehicles are clean and well-maintained, and that all equipment is in good working order.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.

Requirements:
  • A valid UK/EU/EEA driving license (full or automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of the local area and ability to navigate using a satnav.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (up to 25kg) and work in a physically demanding environment.

  • A competitive hourly rate, starting at £12.92 (increasing to £14.05 for stores inside the M25).
