Manager of Academic and Student Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager of Academic and Student Services to join our team at Hertfordshire International College (HIC) in Hatfield. As a key member of our academic services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our student services and academic processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the enrolment process, including semester census checks and student data maintenance.
  • Lead the administration of leaves of absence, extenuating circumstances, and student withdrawals.
  • Develop and maintain operational relationships with our Partner University.
  • Support student welfare aspects, including health and safety, first aid, crisis management, student finance, and accommodation provisions.
  • Manage data integrity, college process improvements, and line manage direct reports.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in the UK Higher Education system.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage people, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • Strong understanding of Home Office Tier 4 regulations and the OFS regulatory framework.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work with diverse cultural backgrounds.
