IT Infrastructure Specialist

A reputable organization in Camberley, Surrey seeks an IT Infrastructure Specialist to drive network performance optimization and deliver IT support services across the organization. This role would suit candidates with experience in similar positions such as IT Engineer, IT Support Engineer, or Network Manager.
As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in supporting major upgrades to the core network infrastructure and cloud transformation while contributing to long-term strategy development. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing 2nd and 3rd line support to internal and external users.
- Managing the helpdesk system, allocating jobs to technicians.
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining IT equipment.
- Maintaining the network, including Wi-Fi and configuring switches.
- Managing user access, including Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and Azure.
- Firewall management (CISCO and HP) and server configurations (Windows 2012 R2 and 2016).
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and possess skills in Office 365, SharePoint, Virtual environments (VMWare and Hyper-V), Printer solutions (Papercut MF), Anti-virus solutions including Sophos, VOIP telephone systems, and CCTV and access control systems.
