Contract Length: 1 year

The Job:

We are seeking a skilled Data Centre / Break fix server engineer for a 12-month project to work on HP, Dell & IBM Servers, server provisioning, rack, stack & configure servers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Hardware Fault Resolution: Troubleshoot hardware faults and arrange replacements.
  2. Server Deployment: Install and decommission redundant equipment.
  3. Expert Hardware Support: Provide expert hardware support.
  4. Customer Service: Responsible for proactive updating of customer and resolution of service.
  5. Collaboration: Co-operate and work closely with all members of the support team to ensure efficient, productive and high-quality technical support and customer service to customers within the live Data Centre.
  6. Communication: Liaise with onsite support engineers and within other sites.
  7. Service Desk Management: Manage all incoming calls and emails to the data centre support function.
  8. Customer Response: Respond to customers within agreed SLA.
  9. Ticket Escalation: Escalation processes: tickets to support management and other teams as required.
  10. Technical Support: Escalate tickets to 2nd line against agreed timescales and continue to monitor these tickets to resolution.

Requirements:

  • Candidates need to be HP and/or Dell accredited.

Work Arrangements: Shift work will be involved.
