Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Privacy Regulation Specialist to play a critical role in ensuring ongoing compliance with emerging legislation and guidance. As the voice of Data Privacy at Nationwide, you will foster industry relationships, attend key forums, and proactively communicate with the Data Privacy team and wider stakeholders.

You'll work closely with the Data Privacy Operations and Advice Manager and Senior Data Privacy Manager to provide advice and guidance on the strategic direction of Privacy at Nationwide.

At Nationwide, we offer hybrid working arrangements, allowing you to balance work and personal life. Our UK-wide estate provides opportunities for collaboration and connection.

For this role, you'll spend at least two days per week, or 40% of your working time, based at our Swindon, London, or Northampton office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the team at key forums, conferences, and industry events to exchange insights and best practices.
  • Assess emerging trends and risks to support internal decision-making.
  • Expertise in data protection legislation and its application.
  • Proven track record of assessing emerging risks and issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
