Job Description Summary

At GE Power Conversion, we provide electrification solutions that enable customers to power their energy-intensive operations and improve energy efficiency. We are recognized for high-performance ship electric power and electric propulsion systems, energy management, and automation and control systems as applied globally across the marine, energy, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.

We are seeking a talented Engineering Quality Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving significant improvement in operational processes and enhancing productivity and quality in all our deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Define, analyze, and drive key performance metrics for the engineering organization to achieve continuous improvements in their deliverables.
  2. Drive engagement with cross-functional teams to develop processes, procedures, and initiatives that allow seamless handoffs from engineering.
  3. Lead root cause analysis using best-in-class quality tools to address engineering issues, ensuring preventive actions are formally implemented and measured by zero recurrence.
  4. Able to lead teams in analyzing data and act as a change agent for new initiative implementation.
Qualifications/Requirements
  1. Degree qualified in engineering or quality.
  2. Significant experience in a quality engineering role.
  3. Knowledge of SAP is an advantage but not essential.
