Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Procurement and Production Manager to join our team at 1st Executive Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of manufacturing plant and equipment buyers to achieve strategic procurement goals
  • Contribute to the development of procurement strategy, policy, and processes for assigned areas of responsibility
  • Deliver effective leadership and management to the procurement team, fostering a culture of success
  • Ensure supplier and sourcing reviews are carried out, suppliers are monitored, and alternative sources are identified to benefit the business
  • Provide technical support and coordination throughout the procurement process to resolve customer and supplier issues effectively
  • Contribute to the IPS strategic direction and delivery of objectives
Requirements
  • Degree qualified in a business subject area or equivalent procurement/supply chain accreditations (MCIPS, RICS, IAPPM)
  • Proven experience working within a procurement role, ideally within an indirect spend category
  • Understanding of business and procurement approaches, techniques, processes, policy, and strategy
  • Experience of contract and supplier performance management
  • Construction contracting experience
