About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Strategist to join our dynamic procurement team at the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS). As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing procurement strategies that deliver best value for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To provide market intelligence and cost advice to support procurement decision-making.
  • To manage and plan operational procurement resources, ensuring effective supply chain management.
  • To develop and implement robust procurement strategies that align with project objectives.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in procurement strategy development and implementation.
  • Proven track record of delivering added value through procurement activity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for managing complex procurement projects, working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to achieve project objectives.

A competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum is on offer, depending on experience, along with a range of benefits including pension scheme, life assurance, and professional development opportunities.
