About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Regional Business Development Manager to join our team in Chippenham. As a key member of our sales and operations team, you will be responsible for driving the growth and profitability of our After Sales and Hire business in the Southern part of the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote our company's solutions to new and existing customers to support sales of new equipment and installations.
- Identify new customers and business opportunities to increase sales of equipment, spares, and hire services.
- Inspect machinery at customer sites, provide service inspection reports, and generate quotations and service proposals.
- Follow up on quotations to convert them into sales.
- Advise customers on the best products to meet their needs.
- Coordinate resources with Contracts Engineer and Installation Supervisor for service, installations, and commissioning in the region.
- Manage the Regional Installation Supervisor for installation delivery in the region.
- Develop the regional business plan with the Field Operations Manager.
- Ensure sustainable regional activities and budgetary control for growth and delivery of After Sales.
- Collaborate with other Regional Field Managers to optimize the use of spare resources between operational regions.
Requirements:
- Background in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- Experience managing a team of Engineers.
- Previous experience in an engineering/manufacturing/maintenance environment.
