Regional Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Manager to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited. As a Regional Manager, you will play a key role in driving the growth and profitability of our After Sales and Hire business in the Southern part of the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote our company's solutions to new and existing customers to support sales of new equipment and installations.
  • Identify new customers and business opportunities to increase sales of equipment, spares, and hire services.
  • Inspect machinery at customer sites, provide service inspection reports, and generate quotations and service proposals.
  • Follow up on quotations to convert them into sales.
  • Advise customers on the best products to meet their needs.
  • Coordinate resources with Contracts Engineer and Installation Supervisor for service, installations, and commissioning in the region.
  • Manage the Regional Installation Supervisor for installation delivery in the region.
  • Develop the regional business plan with the Field Operations Manager.
  • Ensure sustainable regional activities and budgetary control for growth and delivery of After Sales.
  • Collaborate with other Regional Field Managers to optimize the use of spare resources between operational regions.
Requirements:
  • Background in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience managing a team of Engineers.
  • Previous experience in an engineering/manufacturing/maintenance environment.
