Academy Supervisor and Coach

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Academy Supervisor and Coach to join our growing team at M&G plc. As a key member of our Academy team, you will play a vital role in developing new to profession Financial Advisers and ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to deliver outstanding client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Coach and supervise a team of advisers to ensure they meet regulatory and internal standards.
- Evaluate and monitor collective performance to ensure the team is delivering business objectives in a safe and aligned manner.
- Ensure all advisers meet competence testing deadlines and receive ongoing training and coaching as needed.
- Provide feedback to TAP Management on areas of development for the Academy programme and T&C scheme requirements.
- Identify development opportunities and deliver these to ensure advisers progress through their journey to Competent Adviser Status.
- Liaise with TAP Management, sponsoring Appointed Representatives and other stakeholders to ensure advice policies maximise good client outcomes.
- Effective coaching, supervision and mentoring skills.
- Significant experience of front-line advice delivery and management in a mass affluent advisory business.
- Experience of managing T&C requirements.
- Expert level knowledge of industry best practice, good network/links with external bodies and individuals in the same field.
- Expert level knowledge of life, pensions and investment products, markets and competitors.
- Ability to support advisers in the development of their business and client acquisition skills.
- Expert level knowledge of financial services regulatory and legislation frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent people and time management skills.
- Level 4 Diploma or equivalent in Regulated Financial Planning.
