Front Office Supervisor
About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Supervisor to join our team at Ibis Bristol Centre.
Responsibilities:- Supervise a team of staff to ensure seamless front office operations.
- Train and induct new staff members to meet our high standards.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve issues efficiently.
- Manage complex customer inquiries and complaints related to reception services.
- Address daily challenges within the team.
- Attend regular team meetings.
- Maintain effective communication with colleagues.
- Welcome guests warmly and efficiently.
- Process check-in and check-out procedures on our hotel's IT system.
- Respond to phone calls and occasionally take bookings.
- Collaborate closely with hotel departments (Housekeeping, Maintenance, F&B) to share or acquire information about special guest requests and needs.
- Room guests and describe room features.
- Create cash registers and perform daily closing procedures.
- Invoice control and credit handling.
- Answer and fulfill all guest wishes and inquiries.
- Complaint handling.
- Evidently embody the Heartists spirit in interactions with customers.
- Support the Food and Beverage Department when needed.
- Oversee the cleanliness of the workplace and the proper functioning of equipment.
- Know and follow fire evacuation procedures.
- Familiarize yourself with sustainable development policies.
- Ensure compliance with service quality and hygiene standards.
- Apply safety rules for customers with disabilities in the reception area.
No remote work opportunities.
This is a full-time employment position.
Estimated Salary:$45,000 - $55,000 per annum based on location and experience.
