Front Office Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Supervisor to join our team at Ibis Bristol Centre.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of staff to ensure seamless front office operations.
  • Train and induct new staff members to meet our high standards.
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Manage complex customer inquiries and complaints related to reception services.
  • Address daily challenges within the team.
  • Attend regular team meetings.
  • Maintain effective communication with colleagues.
Reception Duties:
  • Welcome guests warmly and efficiently.
  • Process check-in and check-out procedures on our hotel's IT system.
  • Respond to phone calls and occasionally take bookings.
  • Collaborate closely with hotel departments (Housekeeping, Maintenance, F&B) to share or acquire information about special guest requests and needs.
  • Room guests and describe room features.
  • Create cash registers and perform daily closing procedures.
  • Invoice control and credit handling.
  • Answer and fulfill all guest wishes and inquiries.
  • Complaint handling.
  • Evidently embody the Heartists spirit in interactions with customers.
  • Support the Food and Beverage Department when needed.
Health / Safety:
  • Oversee the cleanliness of the workplace and the proper functioning of equipment.
  • Know and follow fire evacuation procedures.
  • Familiarize yourself with sustainable development policies.
  • Ensure compliance with service quality and hygiene standards.
  • Apply safety rules for customers with disabilities in the reception area.
Working Conditions:

No remote work opportunities.

This is a full-time employment position.

Estimated Salary:

$45,000 - $55,000 per annum based on location and experience.
