Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Officer to join our team on a contract basis. As a Purchasing Officer, you will be responsible for procuring goods and services, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely delivery of materials and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procurement and Supply Chain Management
    • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet project requirements
    • Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with company policies
    • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels, track stock movements, and ensure accurate reporting
    • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
  • Documentation and Reporting
    • Prepare and maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and receipts
    • Provide regular reports to management on procurement activities and supplier performance

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes and procedures
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
