Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive individual to join our London office team as a Ports & Maritime Transport Consultant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in economics, mathematics, or a related field, with a minimum of five years of experience in the shipping industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the team's shipping intelligence gathering and reporting, as well as developing and improving existing shipping intelligence tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the team's shipping intelligence gathering and reporting
  • Develop and improve existing shipping intelligence tools
  • Coordinate data consolidation and maintain data processing tools
  • Lead the production of high-quality reports and take ownership of deliverables
  • Conduct directed and independent research for global projects
  • Create presentation materials detailing analysis and results
  • Identify and implement innovative ways to present analysis and results
  • Liaise with internal and external clients and development teams
Requirements
  • Strong background in economics, mathematics, or a related field
  • Minimum of five years of experience in the shipping industry
  • Proactive and dedicated to maintaining high-quality standards
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Professional engagement with diverse teams and clients
  • Accurate and methodical performance, even when under pressure
  • Skilled in handling several projects concurrently
  • Autonomous research skills, as guided by project leaders
