Senior Project Manager - Ports & Maritime

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Ports & Maritime team based in the UK. As a team member, you will play a pivotal role in delivering medium to large-scale and complex capital infrastructure projects in the UK and internationally for a variety of clients, including local authorities, private clients, and international port operators across all cargo sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead high-performing project teams across multiple workstreams and engineering disciplines, overseeing design, procurement, construction, commissioning, integration, and handover.
  • Provide direction and leadership to the team and support to successfully deliver their project responsibilities.
  • Oversee the delivery of the project in accordance with the agreed project success criteria, focusing on time, budget, scope, risk, safety, and handover.
  • Administer, implement, and maintain relevant contract and commercial administration systems and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Requirements
  • Hold chartership status with a professional association or an advanced project management qualification.
  • Experience in a construction and ports and maritime environment.
  • Experience in a project management role.
  • Responsible for delivering at least two large-scale and complex capital infrastructure projects (over GBP 50 million in construction costs).
