About the Role
Cyient is seeking a highly skilled Sales Director to lead our Utilities sales efforts in Europe, specifically in the Water Utilities space. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing our current and new customers in this region.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate sales revenue to meet or exceed established sales goals in solutions and service sales.
- Develop and grow business opportunities in your account base, working closely with our delivery team and selected Cyient partners.
- Utilize direct sales techniques, including Large Account Management Planning and Strategic Selling, to meet with assigned end-users/customers, develop relationships, and close sales to meet revenue goals.
- Act as primary contact with specified accounts, serving as liaison for all communications, determining sales strategy, and negotiating and implementing approved contracts.
- Participate in sales events, such as trade shows, territory product demonstration seminars, and customer-specific technical demonstrations.
- Maintain a high knowledge level of key industry drivers and major competitive players.
- Effectively utilize internal resources available.
Requirements
- Experience selling GIS information systems, OT systems to large network-based customers.
- Consultative solution selling background.
- Prior experience selling to Utilities or Communications will be preferred.
- Familiarity with direct sales and through partners.
- Familiarity with IT systems used by utilities to manage their asset base, network, and workforce.
