About the Role

Change Hospitality is seeking a highly skilled Executive Event Strategist to join their team in Surrey. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing client relationships, and overseeing the execution of high-end events across the county and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate new business leads and manage incoming inquiries for private and corporate events throughout Surrey.
  • Conduct site visits and consultations with prospective clients to understand their event vision.

Sales & Client Acquisition:

The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with experience in high-end catering, event planning, and sales, and possess the ability to manage multiple high-pressure events with ease.

Event Planning & Coordination:

Work closely with clients to plan event logistics, including menu selection, venue setup, and event flow. Collaborate with culinary and service teams to ensure flawless execution on the day of the event. Manage timelines, budgets, and vendor contracts to deliver events within scope and on budget. Handle any last-minute changes or challenges to ensure the event runs smoothly and meets client expectations.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients from initial consultation to event day. Work cross-functionally with internal teams (chefs, service staff, logistics) to ensure seamless event delivery. Train and oversee event staff to provide exceptional service and hospitality on-site. Provide leadership and problem-solving support during events to ensure client satisfaction.

Post-Event Follow-Up & Reporting:

Conduct post-event evaluations with clients to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement. Prepare reports on event outcomes, client feedback, and future recommendations. Maintain accurate records of all event-related documentation, contracts, and communications.

Requirements:

Proven experience in high-end event planning, catering sales, or hospitality management. Strong track record in sales, client management, and event execution within a premium service environment. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of detail. A passion for food, hospitality, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Experience with CRM systems, event management software, and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for events.

Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience.
