We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Events Strategist to join our team at Constructor, a leading search and product discovery platform for enterprise ecommerce.

We generate consistent $10M+ lifts for some of the biggest brands in ecommerce, such as Sephora, Petco, home24, Maxeda Brands, Birkenstock, and Grove Collaborative. Constructor is a U.S. based company that was founded in 2015 by Eli Finkelshteyn and Dan McCormick.

About the Role: As a Marketing Events Strategist, you will support the Marketing team as we continue to scale our event marketing strategy and increase our market share in EMEA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Strategy Execution: Support Senior Manager, Events & Field Marketing to build and accelerate pipeline and drive revenue, including vendor selection and communications, contract negotiations, and KPI evaluations / ROI analysis.
  • Administrative and Operational Expertise: Showcase expertise in drafting event documentation, booking hotel room blocks, monitoring attendee travel confirmations and event registration, submitting vendor invoices and tracking expenses, and scheduling critical event meetings & recording meeting minutes and action items.
  • End-to-End Event Support: Provide end-to-end event support, including managing sponsorship deliverables, owning logistics for all EMEA events, coordinating various event-related tasks, and providing other support as needed.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Be a trusted, collaborative partner, working closely with sales, customer success, content, design, product marketing, demand generation, marketing operations, finance, and executives to support all aspects of Constructor's involvement in industry trade shows and conferences and regional field events.
  • Creative Engagement: Engage your audience with creativity by drafting copy for event landing pages, event promotional emails, and event graphics, conceptualizing unique exhibit booth designs tailored to the audience and region of specific events, and supporting conference sponsorship activations and field marketing experiences.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of marketing events experience (experience in tech is a plus; experience in ecommerce tech is a double plus)
  • Take an analytical, results-driven approach to event strategy and execution
  • Have exceptional prioritization, project management, and budget management skills
  • Be extremely detail-oriented and an expert planner
  • Have an excitement/passion for in-person events
  • Be comfortable traveling across EMEA to support in-person events
  • Have the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Be a clear and organized written and verbal communicator
  • Have familiarity with marketing automation tools and the ability to learn new systems and programs quickly (Salesforce, Hubspot, and Asana)
  • Meet tight deadlines regularly
  • Be comfortable talking to colleagues, customers, and meeting new people at events
  • Work well in a fast-paced, startup environment
