Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join our team at an excellent school near Preston. The ideal candidate will support KS2 pupils in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.
About the Role
This full-time position involves working closely with teachers to deliver engaging lessons and provide individualized support to students. A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is desirable, but not essential.
Responsibilities
- Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN)
- Assisting teachers with lesson planning and delivery
- Providing one-on-one guidance and mentoring
- Maintaining a safe and organized classroom environment
Requirements
- Degree in Education or related field (not required but preferred)
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate
- Two professional references
