About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented GP Assistant to join our team at Operose Health. As a key member of our clinical support team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our general practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to clinical audits, including data entry and report preparation.
  • Work closely with the Lead GP to ensure the completion and dissemination of audit results, as well as maintaining clinical compliance and governance.
  • Sort and prioritize clinical post for the GP/clinical team, ensuring timely action is taken.
  • Extract and review information from clinical letters, coding and adding to patient notes as required.
  • Arrange appointments, referrals, tests, and follow-up appointments for patients, as well as completing basic forms such as mortgage and benefit agency forms.
  • Provide basic PC skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and email.
  • Maintain confidentiality and data security, adhering to our strict protocols.
  • Be flexible to work across different sites as required by business needs.
