Psychological Expert for Diabetes Management

We are seeking a highly skilled Practitioner Psychologist to join our Diabetes Psychiatry and Psychology Service at King's College Hospital.
As part of the adult diabetes team, you will provide specialist psychological screening, assessment, and treatment to patients with type 1/complex type 2 diabetes and associated psychological difficulties.
Main Responsibilities- Provide direct work with diabetes patients, including individual and group-based interventions.
- Consult and teach within the multi-disciplinary team setting.
- Work closely with experts in the field of diabetes and a consultant psychiatrist to manage mental health needs.
- Entry-level qualification in Applied Psychology.
- Additional training in a specialised area of psychological practice or equivalent experience.
- Completed training course in clinical supervision.
- Registered with the HCPC as Practitioner Psychologist.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
The estimated salary for this role is £61,927 - £68,676 per annum pro rata. As a member of our team, you will have access to excellent benefits, including opportunities for career development and research collaborations.
