Safety Assurance Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the safety of our products. This position requires a deep understanding of safety principles and standards, as well as experience working in a regulated industry.

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining a healthy product Safety Culture within the team and wider business, while also supporting non-safety experienced members of the wider team to achieve desirable safety outcomes.

The estimated salary for this role is around £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. Benefits include a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance, and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining a healthy product Safety Culture
  • Supporting non-safety experienced members of the wider team
  • Providing Safety SME to product design and gate reviews

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with safety analysis techniques such as FHA, FTA, ETA, FMEA, STPA
  • Understanding of safety culture and requirements
  • STEM degree with Product Safety experience within a regulated industry
