Product Safety Specialist

We're seeking a Product Safety Specialist to join our team in the maritime defence sector. As a key member of our Integrated Development Team, you'll be responsible for ensuring product safety across multiple systems in support of project milestones.
The role involves:
- Ensuring product safety tasking and activities are completed through all stages of Engineering Life Cycle Management.
- Supporting Hazard Identification and Analysis studies.
- Assisting with or generating safety reports.
- Liaising with other Integrated Development Teams and the Whole Boat Safety Team.
You'll work closely with System Engineers to influence submarine systems and capability development, developing an understanding of how submarine systems work and interact to ensure product safety.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain a broad overview of a complex system (i.e., submarine) and contribute to the safety management process.
In return, we offer a competitive salary range of £55,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as flexible working arrangements, employee discounts, and access to additional benefits like a pension scheme and annual leave allowance.
