Job Title: Product Safety Specialist

BAE Systems is a leading provider of defence, security, and aerospace solutions. As a Product Safety Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our products. The ideal candidate will have experience in safety engineering processes and practices, with a clear understanding of safety engineering and assurance principles.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a competitive salary for the industry, and we offer a range of benefits to support your career and personal growth.

About the Role:

As a Product Safety Specialist, you will provide advice on product safety matters to project and engineering managers. You will engage with third parties to review and gather supporting safety case evidence, develop safety arguments, and produce and update safety case and safety management documentation.

Requirements:

  • Safety engineering processes, practices, and tools
  • Clear understanding of safety engineering and assurance principles
  • Experience working in the defence or aerospace industry
