Experienced Physics Teachers Wanted for a Leadership Role

We are seeking an exceptional Physics Teacher to join our team as Lead Physics Specialist in a reputable school located in the heart of Westminster. This is a permanent, full-time contract offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

About the Role:
  • Specialise in KS4 & KS5 Physics only
  • Lead and grow Physics throughout the School
  • Scope for future lead practitioner opportunities

This role presents an exciting opportunity for a talented Physics Teacher to take on a leadership position, develop their skills, and contribute to the success of the school.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Inspiring and motivating students to achieve academic excellence
  2. Working collaboratively with a team of Science Teachers to deliver high-quality lessons
  3. Leading by example and promoting a culture of excellence within the department
  4. Developing and implementing effective strategies to improve student outcomes

The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record of teaching excellence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire students. They must also be able to work effectively as part of a large team and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Requirements:
  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong academics across the board, including a degree, A Levels, and GCSEs
  • Ability to meet the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

We offer a competitive salary range of £36,571 - £59,135 per annum, plus an additional £10,000 for the Head of Physics role. The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately £46,571 - £69,135.
