Teaching and Leadership Opportunity in Physics

We are seeking an experienced Physics Teacher to take on a Lead Practitioner role in our Secondary School. As a passionate specialist in Physics, you will be responsible for teaching and leading the subject area.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Physics, excellent communication skills, and experience in leading and mentoring colleagues. You will also be expected to contribute to the development of the school's curriculum and assessment strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching and planning of Physics lessons at KS4 and KS5
  • Leading and mentoring of staff members in Physics
  • Contribution to the development of the school's curriculum and assessment strategies
Requirements:
  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or eligible for conversion
  • Strong subject knowledge in Physics
  • Experience in leading and mentoring staff
Benefits:
  • Payscale: L1 £59,478 to L9 £70,401
  • January 2025 start date
  • Permanent school contract
