Physics Teacher + Lead Practitioner of Physics Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional Physics Teacher to take on the role of Lead Practitioner of Physics at a reputable Secondary School in London. As a member of the science department, you will be responsible for teaching KS4 and KS5 Physics lessons, with a focus on developing student knowledge and skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging Physics lessons for students in KS4 and KS5
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve student outcomes in Physics
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop the science curriculum and improve teaching practices
  • Provide guidance and support to non-specialist teachers in the delivery of Physics lessons
  • Contribute to the development of the school's science department and improve its reputation

Requirements:

  • QTS and a degree in Physics or a related subject
  • Proven experience of teaching Physics in a secondary school setting
  • Strong knowledge of the Physics curriculum and assessment requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and lead by example
