Job Overview

This role involves traveling across the UK to various abattoirs, ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and systems. You will be working closely with the team to diagnose faults and implement solutions.

We are seeking a highly skilled individual with experience in mechanical engineering and TIG welding. A full UK driving license and GCSE qualifications are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visiting abattoirs to maintain and repair equipment.
  • Collaborating with the team to resolve technical issues.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Working on site installations and dismantling components.
  • Maintaining accurate records of work completed.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in TIG welding and diaphragm pumps.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and time management skills.

Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, plus company van and benefits package.
