Crane and Lifting Equipment Technician Lead

Venatu Recruitment Group is a leading provider in crane and lifting equipment solutions, seeking a skilled and experienced Crane and Lifting Equipment Technician Lead to join our dynamic team.
This role involves working on the commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of client cranes and lifting equipment, ensuring the highest standards of safety and performance.
The key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out commissioning, maintenance, inspection, and servicing of client cranes and lifting equipment, including occasional offshore/abroad assignments.
- Performing repairs and inspections on electrical equipment and systems.
- Conducting fault finding and repairs on hydraulic and mechanical equipment and systems.
- Managing the commissioning, maintenance, inspection, and servicing of client mechanical equipment.
- Providing technical expertise and guidance to colleagues.
Requirements:
- Apprentice served in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering/Hydraulic Engineering.
- Experience working within the crane industry.
- Proficient in commissioning and fault finding on electro-mechanical and/or hydro-mechanical systems.
- Able to read schematics and engineering drawings and translate them into practice.
- Comfortable working at heights.
- Familiarity with load monitoring equipment such as MIPEG and PAT.
Estimated Salary Range: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum (depending on experience)
