We are seeking a talented Culinary Education Officer to join our team at the University of Ulster. This exciting opportunity will see you working closely with the Hospitality and Tourism Management department to deliver world-class training to students.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and leading students and technical staff/kitchen team in producing high-quality food and menus to meet agreed standards. You will also contribute to outreach activities, deliver professional training courses, and engage in knowledge exchange activity as required.

This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a fast-paced university environment. With an estimated annual salary of £39,173 - £46,511, you will be rewarded for your hard work and dedication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To manage and lead students and technical staff/kitchen team in consistently delivering quality food and menus on offer to customers to agreed standards.
  • To contribute to outreach activities, the delivery of professional training courses, and knowledge exchange activity as appropriate to the area.

Requirements:

  • Hold a degree in a relevant field (e.g., hospitality, culinary arts, education).
  • Have at least 2 years' experience in culinary training or education.
  • Be able to demonstrate strong leadership and management skills.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
