Education Welfare Officer - A Challenging yet Rewarding Role

We are seeking an experienced Education Welfare Officer to join our team at Randstad UK in Belfast. In this role, you will work closely with students, staff, and parents to identify and address barriers to learning, ensuring every student receives the support they need to succeed.

About the Role:

  • You will act as the first point of contact for students and staff regarding safeguarding concerns
  • You will engage with vulnerable students and provide tailored support to help them overcome educational challenges
  • You will contribute to the development of operational procedures and codes of good practice in safeguarding

Your Qualifications and Experience:

  • A relevant qualification (Diploma/Foundation Degree or above) and 2 years' experience in a similar role, or 4 years' experience working with young people
  • Proven ability to provide support, advice, and guidance to young people
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
