Welfare Support Specialist

The Mears Group PLC is seeking a Welfare Support Specialist to join their team in Belfast. This exciting opportunity involves working with asylum seekers going through the right to work application process with the Home Office.
As a Welfare Support Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring service users receive support at various stages of their Asylum application process. This includes identifying individuals and family needs, recognizing required support packages, and maintaining independence.
You will also be required to communicate effectively with colleagues, local authorities, and service users, while maintaining accurate records and undertaking risk assessments. The ideal candidate will possess experience working with vulnerable and diverse client groups, as well as a good understanding of safeguarding.
A full UK driving license and flexibility to travel are essential for this role. The estimated salary for this position is £28,350 per annum.
