Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Wellbeing and Activities Assistant to join our Magic Moments Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering a range of activities and programmes that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the assessment of residents' needs through meetings with residents, team members, and family members.
- Support the delivery of stimulation and exercise programmes that meet individual needs, including music, exercise, and arts & crafts.
- Build relationships with residents and families to gather life story information and develop personalized care plans and activities.
- Collaborate with care staff and relatives to create engaging activities that reflect residents' interests and hobbies.
- Assist in developing community links with local groups and arranging trips and excursions to promote social engagement.
- Support the roll-out of Magic Moments initiatives and encourage others to get involved.
- Contribute to the creation of evidence and tracking activity engagement through digital and written methods.
Requirements
- Confident in delivering group and one-to-one activities.
- A team player with excellent communication skills.
