Consultant Psychiatrist Opportunity in Wigan

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Later Life and Memory Service in Wigan. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist psychiatric care to patients with complex mental health needs
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in education and training programs to maintain professional development
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
  • Completion of specialist training in psychiatry
  • Experience in working with older adults and individuals with memory impairments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
