We are seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join our dynamic Bids Team at Phoenix Software Limited. As a key member of our Sales Division, you will play a vital role in managing the bidding and tendering process across various sales channels.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of bid production, including coordinating cross-functional teams, managing multiple projects, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality bids and proposals that meet client requirements.
- Bid Production: You will lead the written and editorial aspects of bid development, communicating with stakeholders, maintaining the bid library, and editing proposal responses to ensure clarity and accuracy.
- Commercial Analysis: Conduct post-submission analysis to identify areas for improvement and apply commercial acumen, P&L management, and risk management throughout the bid process.
- Relationship Building: Foster partnerships with vendors and build long-term relationships with customers to drive positive collaborations.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a fast-paced and growth-oriented individual who can work autonomously while contributing to a dynamic team. As a Bid Manager at Phoenix, you will have the chance to develop your skills and knowledge, working on up to five bid proposals per week.
Key Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need excellent coordination and prioritisation skills, as well as strong copy-editing abilities and commercial acumen. Experience in bid management, proposal development, or related fields is essential.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary range for this position is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including hybrid working arrangements, training opportunities, and a supportive team environment.
