Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Workday expert to join our HR transformation team as a Workday HCM Transformation Specialist. This is an 18-month fixed-term contract opportunity based in London.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the end-to-end implementation of Workday's Human Capital Management (HCM) product, leading and supporting the successful implementation of single or multiple HCM functional streams.

Responsibilities
  • Manage Workday's Human Capital Management system in partnership with other teams within People Services, including software update management, solution design, configuration, training, communications, and feature roadmap prioritization.
  • Gather and understand Aztec's Business Requirements and demonstrate core Workday concepts using pre-delivered Workday solutions.
  • Work closely with Workday Consulting Teams on Workday projects, including Data and Integration Consultants, to ensure seamless collaboration between the various touch-points of the application.
  • Provide in-depth HCM expertise focused on employee engagement, talent, people analytics, recruiting, workforce management, and learning.
  • Assist in assessing potential application of Workday solutions to meet business needs and prepare detailed product specifications for development and implementation.
  • Provide expertise in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Workday functionality and configurations.
  • Create and maintain project plans, schedules, and other key documents to keep the project on track for successful execution and on-time delivery.
  • Conduct system testing, validation, and documentation of Workday configurations and enhancements.
  • Support end-users with training and ongoing assistance to ensure successful adoption and utilization of Workday systems.
  • Undertake final deployment activities working closely with the system implementation partner and internal IT team.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years' experience in consulting, either as an Internal Consultant or with a Consulting/Software Company.
  • 3-5 years' relevant educational qualifications and/or experience implementing or supporting HCM/Recruiting/Talent/Learning solutions.
  • Previous experience as a Workday Consultant with a focus on Absence, Recruitment, and HR modules.
  • Certification in multiple Workday modules preferred.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and practices.
  • Experience with Workday configurations, customizations, and integrations.
  • Business analysis and requirements gathering skills.
  • A detail-driven problem solver with a passion for delivering exceptional levels of customer service.
  • A strong presenter with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability and desire to learn technology quickly through a mix of different mediums.
Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
