Key Responsibilities

As a Personal Support Partner with Helping Hands, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Supporting clients with personal care activities such as showering, bathing, and toileting
  • Assisting with mobility and transfers to ensure safe movement around the home
  • Overseeing medication administration and providing medical support as required
  • Helping with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking, and laundry
  • Accompanying clients on outings and activities, promoting social interaction and engagement

In return for your dedication and hard work, we offer a competitive salary of £11-£13 per hour, depending on experience, plus additional benefits including:

  • Paid mileage at 35p per mile
  • Early pay app allowing up to 50% of pay to be taken in advance

Requirements

To be successful as a Care Support Worker with Helping Hands, you will need to have a kind heart, be adaptable, and possess excellent communication skills. You must also have a full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle.

Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 per annum (pro rata) or £10.71 - £12.32 per hour (dependent on experience)
