Temporary Safety Advisor Opportunity

Connect Appointments is seeking a skilled Safety Advisor to join one of our esteemed clients in Dunfermline. This temporary opportunity will cover maternity leave and offers a competitive salary of £35,000 to £38,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough safety risk assessments prior to commencing new projects
  • Review and ensure compliance with industry safety standards for all work procedures
  • Prepare and maintain accurate reports for accidents and safety breaches
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest health, safety, and environment regulations
  • Oversee the safe installation of equipment and manage external contractors
  • Deliver in-house training sessions on health and safety awareness
  • Monitor incident metrics and apply findings to improve safety protocols
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical fitness and stamina to perform job duties
  • Strong team spirit and ability to work in high-pressure environments
  • Research and analytical skills to identify and mitigate risks
  • Negotiation skills to resolve conflicts and issues
  • Proficiency in relevant software packages
