Job Title: Desktop Support Specialist

At Tata Consultancy Services, we are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team. As a Desktop Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for desktop computers, laptops, and other related hardware and software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and maintenance for desktop computers, laptops, and other related hardware and software.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Develop professional relationships with major accounts and provide training to stakeholders on different systems.
  • Comply with Quality Health Safety Environment (QHSE) and IT policies.
  • Assist with Site Security Officer (SSO) on IT security issues and virus elimination.
  • Perform IMAC (Install, Move, Add and Change) of End user hardware.
  • Conduct hardware and software maintenance and support.
  • Update AMDB including hardware and software.
  • Coordinate activities with third parties to resolve the IT issues or complete service requests.
Requirements:
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of hardware and software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Basic knowledge of Quality Health Safety Environment (QHSE) and IT policies.
