Energy Management Specialist

Job Overview
Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Energy Management Specialist to join its dedicated team. As a key member of the organization, you will play a crucial role in reducing the Trust's carbon footprint and utility costs.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement energy reduction strategies to minimize utility costs and carbon emissions.
- Oversee the accurate and timely rebilling of tenants, ensuring compliance with regulatory schemes.
- Design and deliver energy efficiency projects to reduce consumption and costs.
- Implement and maintain an Energy Management System (EnMS) to track and analyze energy usage.
- Conduct energy and water efficiency audits to identify areas for improvement.
- Procure utilities and negotiate contracts to ensure optimal pricing and terms.
- Lead on energy infrastructure projects, including the development and implementation of energy-efficient systems.
- Provide regular utility reporting and budget forecasting to inform business decisions.
- Develop and implement a metering strategy to enhance data granularity and inform energy management decisions.
- Engage with staff on people-focused energy reduction initiatives to promote a culture of sustainability.
