Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Dementia Support Specialist to join our care team at HC One. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive the highest level of care and support.

With a focus on person-centred care planning and knowledge of caring for individuals with dementia, you will lead a team of Care Assistants and maintain the highest standards of care. You will work closely with the Registered Nurse and Care Manager to provide essential physical and mental stimulation through a range of social and recreational activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide vital support to residents with complex needs, including administering medication and maintaining accurate records.
  • Lead a team of Care Assistants and ensure seamless delivery of care services.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues and residents alike, fostering a positive and supportive team environment.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in person-centred care planning and knowledge of caring for individuals with dementia.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with others.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is £52,500 per annum (subject to experience and qualifications), reflecting the importance of this role in supporting our residents.
